CHF Website Architecture

Our friends at Chicago Humanities Festival approached Mess to help update their web presence to feel more in-line with their recent brand refresh. Our team saw a disconnect between their website and the ideals of their organization. After looking through their website and analytics, Mess proposed that we prioritize their Events page (which had the highest number of engagement) and to navigate users to other content on the site that doesn’t have as much engagement. Other pages such as the Programs and Conversations pages had very little engagement due to some of the content being out of date with their official website launch.

Our main goal was to integrate content from the Programs and Conversations pages into the Events page, as well as utilizing global CTA components to use in heavier trafficked pages that would navigate the user to content on these pages.
